It's Official ... Victoria Ray has an art blog!
I will create anything out of anything ... and I'm always learning and I always strive for perfection even though I know that task is far beyond me.
This is the official invite to my senior art show … an art installation of Deadpool and his buddies gathering for a Poker Game.

I fell in love with this project we did in painting II, the project: come up with a symbol that is recognizable and blow it up to make it slightly more universal, abstracted, and minimal. Needless to say … painting III projects, superheros.
Radio Poem - Completed April 2011
A final 30 second film project. I created this mash-up of a Robert Frost poem stanza in both French and English and tied it up with radio static and channel flipping sounds to divulge in with the way we go about our road trips. Moral of the story: take the road less traveled, its beautiful.
My first official piece posted anywhere online through youtube and my other personal blog about everything that I love and inspirations and whatever else I see fit.
But this piece was my first short film finished, I’m quite proud of it actually for as stressed out as I was and for how last minute it became.
So here we are … Untitled #1
Finally … A place that is 100% all me and my art. Anything and Everything that I create. Of course this isn’t everything as it says but my hopes are for it to be mostly everything worth seeing. I’m trying this new thing of being proud of my work, and having this posted on a blog seems like I just may be able to accomplish such a thing. So here it is … this is me! Like it or not … this is what I have to work with. So enjoy - because I’m going to keep creating. Also maybe this way other people can keep me on track, I tend to be very lazy. Cheers.
(Until I fully get comfortable with posting things … this will be as private as can be). Baby steps. Yes, baby steps.
